Front Parallel Link Kits

Our parallel link kit with urethane bushings offers front axle control without the bind encountered during body roll when using split wishbones. Our premium kits come with stainless 17-4 one-piece axle brackets and 17-4 stainless one piece 5/8" adjustors. The Econo kit features stamped and folded steel axle brackets and 5/8" steel adjustors. All kits include 7/8"x .156 seamless bars, urethane bushings, stamped and folded frame brackets, stainless cup washers, socket button head fasteners and instructions.Kits are available with less angle on bar ends when using narrow axle (46" king pin centers). Specify 2" or 2-1/4" axle boss, cross or side steering and stock or narrow axle width.


Front Panard Bar

We offer front panard bar for 28-34 Fords. Panard bar eliminates lateral movement on the shackles. The 5/8" seamless bar mounts behind axle and bracket bolts to right side axle bracket. Available plain, or with chromed bar and chrome axle bracket or with a polished stainless bar and chrome axle bracket. When ordering specify year, axle width and axle bracket bolt hold size.


Radius Rods

We offer the traditional radius rods for 28-34 Fords in steel, chrome and polished stainless. The kit comes with 17-4 one-piece axle brackets and 17-4 5/8" adjustors. The kit includes 7/8"x .156 seamless bars, urethane bushings, stamped and folded frame brackets, stainless cup washers, socket button head fasteners and instructions. Specify axle boss size, axle width and car year.


Shocks and Shock Kits

Our shock kits enable the installation of tube shocks on 28-48 Fords. The 28-34 kits include stamped and folded upper brackets (weld-on or bolt-on), lower shock mounts, shocks (14-1/2" open, 9-1/2" closed), hardware and instructions. 28-34 shock kits available with chrome shocks and chrome or polished stainless lower mounts. Our 35-40 Ford shock kit features tubular upper shock mounts, combination perch and lower shock mount, shocks(14-1/2"open, 9-1/2" closed), hardware and instructions. On super low 28-34 chassis a short shock (10-3/8" open, 7-3/8" closed) is available. On super low 35-40 chassis a taller tubular upper shock mount is available. 42-48 shock kit fits stock width axle and comes with shock brackets, shocks and special shackles to mount shocks.


Spindles


We offer a reproduction spindle based on the popular 37-41 round Ford spindle. Precision unit uses stock bearings, seals, and king pins. The spindle is also available machined to accept a Mopar disc

rotor kit (4010) and not require a bearing adapter. Spindle nut and washer fits 37-48 Ford spindles. 2700C spindles have been reamed and fitted with stainless King Pins.


King Pins

Standard kit comes with needed parts to replace worn pins and bushings. Our stainless topped Ford king pin kits come with polished stainless topped king pins, polished pinlock, polished spindle stop nut and chromed bearings.


Dropped Front Axles

We offer 4" dropped axles in tube or I-beam style for 37-48 Ford spindles. Tube axles feature forged 1018 steel ends with 2" x .250 wall 1018 seamless tube. Tube axles available in a variety of standard widths. Special width tube axles not listed are available for an additional charge. I-Beam axles are made one-piece from annealed ductile iron. Tube and I-Beam axles are set with 1 to 1- 1/4 degree positive camber. Tube axles are available chromed. 37-48 axles require extra drop lower steering arms. Specify 2" or 2-1/4 axle boss. I-beam axles available Hi-Lite chromed.




I-Beam Axles
 
 
Cast from high strength 65-45-12 ductile iron, Super Bell's I-Beam axles are designed to accept '37-'48 Ford passenger car spindles.Applications include '28-'34 Ford, 1/2 ton Ford trucks up through 1941, and '35-'36 Fords when you split the original bones. Split wishbone kits and instructional sheets are available.

Tube Axles
 
 

Our most popular tube axles are a four inch drop that are machined to accept the early Ford spindle which come in two standard widths, 46 1/2 inches and 49 inches from kingpin to kingpin. Tube ends are cast from 65-45-12 ductile iron and our tubes have a 2 inch outside diameter.

Alum"I"beam

 
 
The *NEW* Super Bell Axle Co. is proud to introduce to you the newest I-Beam axle called the Alum"I"beam. Computer designed and strength tested, this axle combines Super Bell's traditional I-beam "narrow upsweep" with the original 1932 truck (wider style) belly and features a raised "Super Bell" shield on only one side of the beam. Measuring 46" king pin to king pin our Alum"I"beam is designed for use under the 1928-34 Ford using the '37-'48 Ford passenger car spindles. Forged from 7175-T74 aircraft aluminum and "Made in the USA", Super Bell's Alum"I"beam is lighter (9.5 lbs.), stronger (tested in the real world), and better then ever. Offered in high lighted or fully polished with a drilled option (1 inch lightning holes) available.

Front Springs

We offer reversed eye mono-leaf and 7 leaf springs for 28-34 Fords in 2 lengths, 31 1/2" (stock and 48" axles) and 29 1/2"(46'' axles). 7-leaf springs feature rounded ends, hole in 4th leaf for spring clamp and comes with a roll of black Poly-Ride. Chromed 7-leaf spring comes with stainless spring clamp and clear Poly-Ride installed. Mono-leaf for 37-41 axle with 47 3/4" king pin centers available plain or chromed.


Perchs

Perchs have a 3/4" eye and extra long shank for mounting lower shock mounts. Perchs available plain, chrome, or polished stainless. 35-up perchs steel only. Adjustable perchs available in stainless and polished stainless only.


Lower Shock Mount

Lower shock mount features chrome alloy button head allen and stainless washer. Shock mount available plain, chrome or polished stainless.


U-Bolt Kits

Our kit includes 2 U-bolts, locknuts and 5 hole plate. Available gold iridated or chromed.



Poly-Ride

We stock Poly-Propylene extrusion that eliminates steel to steel contact and reduces wear. Unique lip design keeps Poly-Ride from working out of spring.


Spring Clamps

Polished stainless spring clamps keeps leaves from spreading side to side and comes with polished stainless bolt and nut.



Shackles

Our shackles feature pressed stud design and long lasting moly-nylon bushings. Shackles come gold iridated or polished stainless "Show Shackle".

Zig's latest offering is for the `67 to `69 and `70 to `81 Camaro. These standard width and NARROWED tubular upper and lower arms are state of the art in both design and fabrication. Uppers are 1-1/4" dia. tube, and the lowers are a full 1-1/2" dia. tube. Narrowed arms are a must if you want to run some beefy front meats for the pro tour circuit, and Zig's has them. They are narrowed 1" per side, pulling the tires in to give plenty of fender clearance. They all come powder coated and are supplied with ball joints. High performance urethane bushings are standard, to tighten up the suspension and allow no deflection under cornering loads for absolutely solid, positive handling. Upper arms include offset cross shafts for ease of alignment and permit you to experiment with caster settings that will allow better straight line tracking as well as better feel in the corners. All arms are completely assembled. Two different lower arms are offered for either stock springs and shocks or coil-over shock design. These are full bolt-on arms, requiring no modifications to the frame.

Improved Camber 2" Dropped Steel Spindles
 
 
  Zig's now offers a 2" Dropped Spindle for the first generation '67-'69 Camaro. This spindle is very different from others on the market. It is called an "Improved Camber" spindle because the upper ball joint is raised 1-1/2". These are not some factory adapted spindles. They are new, specially designed spindles for the Camaro. The raised ball joint means that the arc that the upper control swings in is different from the factory design, so it yields a different camber change during suspension movement. You cannot do this with any "special modified" control arms, as the pivot points are determined by the ball joint locations on the spindle and the control arms just "connect the dots", and go along for the ride. Period. As the car leans into a turn, the new camber characteristics keep the tire from leaning outward, keeping the tire patch in full contact with the road. This means more stability and higher performance during cornering. Along with that, this spindle is manufactured, as are all the Heidt's dropped spindles, from STEEL, not cast iron.
These spindles are the strongest ones in the industry. At some point all cars must also stop. Heidt's spindles again set the standard with their bolt-on caliper brackets.
Do you want standard disc brakes with factory calipers, billet caliper and billet hubs, or the monster 13" rotors with huge 6 piston calipers? Because the caliper brackets can be interchanged, all these brake packages are available for these spindles.
